These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of MyHelpr, a digital substance prevention and life skills guide operated by MyHelprAI LLC (“MyHelpr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Services.

1. Nature of the Services

MyHelpr provides a supplemental educational resource designed to support substance prevention education, decision-making skills, and healthy conversations with youth. The guide is intended for use by churches, Christian schools, educators, and approved leaders.

MyHelpr may be used as a core homeschool academic curriculum for either a required health education class or as an elective as a half credit, however it does not serve as a substitute for professional counseling, medical care, or behavioral health services.

2. Educational Scope and Responsibility

  • The Services are educational and informational only.
  • Implementation and facilitation are the responsibility of the purchasing organization.
  • Teachers, youth leaders, or administrators remain fully responsible for supervision, instruction, and student well-being.
  • MyHelpr does not monitor, assess, diagnose, or intervene in individual student behavior.

3. Eligibility and Authorized Access

  • You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or administer access.
  • Purchases must be made by an authorized representative of the organization.
  • Site licenses apply to one school or homeschool location or church campus unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Access may be shared with staff and leaders within the licensed organization only.

4. Licensing and Intellectual Property

  • All content is licensed, not sold.
  • Materials may not be copied, redistributed, publicly posted, or modified.
  • The Beacon Series Guide content remains the exclusive intellectual property of MyHelprAI LLC, except for all Bible verses contained within.

5. Fees, Billing, and Renewals

  • Licenses are billed and renewed annually unless otherwise stated, except for the homeschool edition as it is a one time purchase, good for 365 day access to the portal.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled prior to renewal, except for the homeschool edition.
  • All payments are non-refundable.

6. Medical, Counseling, and Crisis Disclaimer

MyHelpr does not provide medical advice, mental health counseling, substance use treatment, crisis response, or emergency services.

If a participant exhibits signs of substance use, mental health distress, or poses a risk to themselves or others, responsibility lies with the organization to follow its established policies and refer to qualified professionals.

7. Data and Student Privacy

MyHelpr is designed to minimize data collection. We do not profile students, assess risk levels, or provide behavioral scoring. Use of the Services must comply with applicable privacy and student protection laws.

8. Communications and Email

By creating an account, accessing a free or paid offering, or purchasing a license, you consent to receive emails from MyHelpr related to your account, course access, service updates, and relevant leader resources connected to The Beacon Series.

These communications are intended to support proper use of the Services and may include onboarding information, curriculum updates, leader tools, or important service notices. You may unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time using the link provided in each message.

9. Acceptable Use

  • Services may not be used for unlawful, misleading, or harmful purposes.
  • Content may not be altered or misrepresented.
  • Organizations may not present MyHelpr materials as their own original content.

10. Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update or improve the Services at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyHelprAI LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services, including educational outcomes or implementation decisions.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyHelprAI LLC from claims arising from misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for violations of these Terms or misuse of content.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Polk County, Iowa.
